Child and Adolescent Gynaecology
Our Child and Adolescent Gynaecologists provides sensitive, age-appropriate care for girls and young people with gynaecological concerns. We offer a safe and respectful environment where questions are welcomed and young people feel heard and supported.
We assess and manage menstrual concerns, pelvic pain, endometriosis, irregular or heavy periods, puberty concerns, vulval conditions and hormonal conditions such as PMOS, with care tailored to each young person’s developmental stage and individual needs.
Specialised Assessment & Symptom Management
We provide age-appropriate care for young people experiencing menstrual or pelvic health concerns. Through careful assessment and personalised treatment plans, we support conditions such as painful or irregular periods, pelvic pain, puberty concerns and hormonal conditions like PMOS.
Multidisciplinary Care for Complex Conditions
Some conditions, such as endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain, benefit from a coordinated team-based approach. Our service works collaboratively with other child health specialists where appropriate, to ensure that care addresses all aspects of a young person’s health.
Education, Support & Empowerment
We provide clear, evidence-based information about menstrual health, treatment options and symptom management. By supporting adolescents and their families with knowledge and guidance, we help young people feel confident and informed in managing their health.
